3 DEAD, 1 INJURED AFTER MYSTERIOUS PLAGUE STRIKES FISH TANK
Shanghai- 3 fish are dead and 1 is clinging to life after an unexplained overnight tragedy in a Shanghai aquarium. An additional fish is missing leaving a projected death toll of 5.
“I simply have no idea what happened. Everything was fine last night and then this morning I’m pulling bodies out of the water like it was a North Winnipeg river, said aquarium owner Ryan Sayer, 28, making bad jokes to hide his sadness.
Several factors may be to blame and investigators will be exploring every option. All of the dead or sick were recently introduced to the tank and may have had trouble transitioning from the Fish and Flower Market to their new home in a fourth floor apartment.
Sayer added, “I would like to reiterate that the pink fish, the angel fish and the lobster appear happy and healthy.”
No criminal charges are expected to be laid.
